In Vegas there are people who sit in every nook and cranny of the strip with signs asking for money. Some use humor, others put sad stories, and still others use gimmicks.

It was depressing to see all of these people in need. I don’t know their stories or how they ended up on the street, but all I can do is offer a prayer for them and hope that luck turns it’s head in their lives.

It made me realize how extremely grateful I am to have a place to call home. I am blessed simply for having four walls surrounding me, keeping me safe.

Today I am smiling because I have a home.
